Kigali: Over 5000 recieved Christ as AEE reaches high schools with the gospel

More than 5000 high school students have given their lives to Christ during a week-long evangelical outreach that was organised by African Evangelic Enterprise (AEE).

The campaign titled ‘Kigali student mission 2024,’ was held under the theme, ‘Redefine your future in Jesus’ in reference with Ecclesiastes 11:9-10, and was organised in partnership with University Students’ Associations and AEE Kenya Foxfires.

It ran from May 20 to 26 and had over 30,000 students in attendance.

A total of 33 high schools in the City of Kigali were reached, including Camp Kanombe, EFOTEC Kanombe, Groupe Scolaire Kinyinya, Groupe Scolaire Kagugu, G.S Kacyiru, Well Spring Academy, Kagarama Secondary School, ESSA Nyarugunga, and Church of God school among others.

AEE Missions manager, George Nkurunziza, expressed that they are thankful to God for the outcome of the campaign, adding that their target was achieved at 87.1 percent.

“After the campaign, we shall continue to be close to the new believers by preparing bible studies that will help them grow spiritually,” he pointed out.

As part of helping new believers in the new journey, AEE trained student leaders and teachers.

AEE plans to scale up evangelical outreaches to other parts of the country to bring the gospel to many.
