Comfort my people International helped 200 children from poor families to go back to school (Pictures)

In the week we finished, that is, the beginning of the school, the evangelical organization called Comfort my People International helped about 200 children from poor families in the districts of Burera and Kamonyi where they received school supplies.

Comfort my People International has done this work to help in two districts where in Burera district they helped those in Cyanika sector and in Kamonyi district children who received was those who lives in Musambira sector.

Underprivileged children were given school supplies consisting of notebooks and pencils (Box Maths) and everything else related to school needs, especially some of these children who are already helped by Comfort my People to pay school fees.

Dancille Uwimbabazi who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries said she thanks God very much for using Comfort my People International organization because the risk of losing her daughter in the year 2024, she was lucky that this comfort my people gaves her hope , visited them , assisted them by providing them food and so much things

Pastor Willy Rumenera, the head of Comfort my People International, when asked by the media why their activities include giving so much attention to supporting children in education ,he said that every parent should inherit two things from a child, namely to teach him the way of salvation of Jesus and to help him in his studies.

He said: “That’s why we like Comfort my People as a Christian community care very much about preaching the good news that turns people into disciples of Jesus and we work on helping children get a good education so that they can benefit themselves and the family and the country”.

He continued, “Comfort my People International does not only take care of children, but there are other activities that we do, such as the fact that we have built more than 200 houses for vulnerable families, mainly survivors of the Genocide against the Tutsis in 1994.” We are also provide them with the health insurance (Mutuelle de santé)

Pastor Willy Rumenera, the director of Comfort my People International, explained why he cares so much about children.

The children helped by comfort my people include those who are paid school fees and other things in normal life, and he said that this organization gives food to the poor where many families have already been fed and also visits patients in different hospitals and pay for them the medical expenses bills

The leader added: “We understood that the religion that is perfect and pure before God the Father of us all is this: it is to visit orphans and widows in their suffering, and to avoid being contaminated by the things of the world” (Jacob 1:27), so this is the reason we take care of the needy is because doing what is right is better than speaking and hearing and the good Spirit should live in a living body.”

Comfort My People International was founded and led by Pastor Willy Rumenera, who is currently the National Director of Teen Challenge Rwanda and the Director of Teen Challenge in the East Africa Regional

He also the Legal Representative of Teen challenge in Rwanda and East Africa here the teen challenge focuses on freeing young people who are addicted to drugs through the word of God and prayers (Faith based rehabilitation center).
